Foster Application

Things to Know.

  • Keep it calm: Your new visitor needs some time to get used to you and the rest of your family, as well as get to know their new surroundings. There are lots of places to explore, new smells and a new routine. We always recommend slow and supervised introductions. Always supervise interactions with people, kids, and other animals

  • When fostering a cat/kitten we encourage you to keep them in a separate room of the home, away from other pets. This allows a decompression period for the animal and prevents conflict with other animals in the home. This also reduces the likelihood of any illness or ailments being spread.

  • AFFN will provide the food and supplies for the cat you are fostering
